“The Big Pool Story,” officially known as The Big Pool Preservation Project, is a unique initiative spearheaded by David Pappas. The project’s main focus is to preserve the heritage and raise awareness of the Oak Ridge Outdoor Municipal Community Pool through community engagement, innovative technology, and an AI chatbot named Dive.
The project aims to involve the community by sharing the rich history of the pool and encouraging participation in various activities. These activities include exploring The Story of The Big Pool, The Timeline with Key Events, sharing personal stories, photos, and videos on our Facebook Group, and entering our giveaways by spreading the word on social media.
A key feature of the project is our AI Chatbot Dive, designed to engage users with the history of the Oak Ridge Outdoor Municipal Community Pool. This chatbot leverages AI technology to provide an interactive and educational experience for users and is accompanied by a timeline of press coverage and events.
