About Bradford
B. Bradford Woods is a committed advocate for preserving Oak Ridge’s historical legacy. Holding a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from Wright State University, Brad is the Assistant Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering and an Adjunct Professor of Geological Science at Wright State.
Since relocating to Oak Ridge in 2009, Brad has passionately engaged with the community, particularly through his membership in the Oak Ridge Historical Preservation Association. He is deeply involved with the Save the Oak Ridge Pool group, striving to protect this iconic piece of the town’s history.
Brad’s expertise as a Certified Pool Operator and General Manager for a condominium complex has been invaluable in his preservation efforts. Additionally, he has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the National Park Service at the Manhattan Project National Park, and the Friends of the Oak Ridge Public Library.
Brad’s dedication to safeguarding Oak Ridge’s heritage ensures that these irreplaceable landmarks will continue to enrich the community for generations to come.
